(1) If any person commits suicide, whoever abets the commission of such suicide, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.
(2) If any person commits suicide as a result of not being paid the wages due to him or for harassment related to his work, whoever abets the commission of such suicide by doing or omitting any act which created such condition, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which shall not be less than one year but which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.
