Whoever knowing that any property has been forfeited or is liable to be forfeited by any Court of Justice or public authority dishonestly receives or retains or disposes of or transfers the same or attempts to receive retain dispose of or transfer the same shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years or with fine or with both.
