Whoever does any act with the intention of thereby causing bodily pain, disease or infirmity to any person, or does any act intending thereby to injure, with or without intention of causing bodily pain, or does any act knowing himself to be likely thereby to cause bodily pain, disease or infirmity to any person, is said to cause hurt to that person.
