Whoever commits or conspires to commit any act knowing that such act is likely to cause injury or danger to any person by the emission or discharge of any gas smoke or vapour or from any poisonous fume fluid or from making any waterway unfit for health or human consumption shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to five years or with fine or with both.
